I sometimes have the opportunity to talk about why I became a Money Coach.
Oddly enough, one of the higher reasons why I chose this vocation have little to do with money itself.
One of my strongest personal convictions is to help others be the best they can be. When each of us is stronger, it helps make our society stronger as a benefit. Consider, if you will, your own body. Your body is made up of trillions of cells. Each cell has a designated job, whether to convey oxygen and other nutrients throughout the body, process information, or protect from pathogens.
Each and every cell in your body is necessary for the healthy functioning of the whole. In fact, the more cells that are making good use of the resources provided, the easier it is to deal with other cells that are struggling. Healthy cells can know what they need to function well and be secure in letting excess resources go to help other cells.
As members of society, I believe when we are strongest individually, we help build a stronger society as a whole. Part of being strong individually is understanding and controlling your own desires and predilections toward spending your resources. When you understand why you want to spend the way you do, it is easier to control those impulses. Then, as you build your own habits up, you can find you aren't as dependent on society to take care of you. Quite the opposite really.
When you are strong and powerful individually, your impact on society can be much greater than when you depend on society.
I can help you become strong and powerful in knowing your money habits and building better ones. You can decide then to save money for emergency expenses or large purchases rather than relying on someone else's money via loans. Retirement becomes less uncertain as you willfully put money away for that purpose.
You have much to offer yourself, your family, community, and society as a whole. Sometimes it helps having someone walk you through the process of building those habits. I can be that person. I want to be that person for you.
This is one reason why I became a Money Coach.
I'm glad you're out there Todd.
