Frederick Douglass was a patriarch of the republican party who had a deep understanding of the God given gift of liberty codified in our constitution. He was a real radical, standing up to rebels against the republic (Democrats). A symbol of the fight to defend the God given gift of freedom, not a false image of liberation or so called revolution like Che Guvara that people sport in ignorance. If there were a face that should be more fashionable for freedom, Frederick Douglass is a great fit! And instead of "Just Doing it" wrong like Nike. do it RIGHT!
Here's Frederick Douglass's story on liberty. Compare to Che's perverted ideas of liberation.
