4 eggs 1 cup of Heavy Cream 1/2 cup of Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup of turbinado sugar 2 tlbsps of butter(Melted)
combine all ingredients and cover and let sit overnight so the flavors can marry
2 cups of finely diced apples, 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar ,1 cup of your favorite bourbon,1 teaspoon nutmeg,1/2 stick of butter
saute the finely chopped apples on medium low until translucent and golden then add the brown sugar and bourbon and let it cook on for another 20 to 30 minutes till super tender and set aside keeping warm
have a good loaf of Challah or Brioche cut into 1 inch thick slices dip them both sides into the french toast custard and saute in butter till golden brown and delicious and repeat till you have no more custard and bread.Then top the toast with the apple topping and serve.Apple smoked bacon and sausage are great accompianments as is some high quality maple and enjoy!!!
