I'm not sure how many have heard "As Time Goes By" (from ”Casablanca” 1942) by Dooley Wilson. The lyrics "..the fundamental things apply as time goes by...", totally touches on quantum mechanics and other dimensions.
I guess dimensional switching would explain the train scene where it was raining and Humphrey Bogart's clothes were wet, then a cut or two later his clothes were dry and there was no rain.
There were other subtle things that were blamed on the fast-pased production day, constant script changes/adjustments, etc. If you take into consideration that Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman could dimensionally-shift, it makes perfect sense.
