Howdy TJ! Yeah this argument is profoundly flawed. They're trying to do some miracle math to make this work, as if they have some scriptural edge. This argument does not hold up for this very simple verse. "Early on the first day of the week (Sunday), while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. -John 20:1 You cannot get three days and three nights from Wednesday to Sunday, Or Thursday to Sunday. You''l get 5 days or 4 days but not three. The death and resurrection took place between Friday and Sunday. Yeshua arose on Sunday. That is a fixed mark! From that fixed day count back. Sunday, Saturday, Friday. Three days. That's it this can not be changed according to their theories of when passover was or the Hebrew calendar or Gregorian, etc. Now how do we get three nights? Simple. the Bible already told us in the very beginning, "And the DARKNESS, He called NIGHT. When Johnah was in the whale for three days it was DARK. (and the darkness He called NIGHT.) So three days of darkness is three days and three nights. When Yeshua died He was placed in Darkness. FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Three days in darkness. Three days and three nights. Indeed we shouldn't be taken by the paganism, but this argument that he's going along with doesn't work. Rock on!
