I watched Landman...

...both seasons.

i could go into a bitter, profanity laden tirade about it but i realized that it's not just what the message is, but also how the message is delivered and the conclusion that i came to is that both are equally important.

Christ was called many things, and HE was described as many things...jerk was not one of those things.

which leads me to the first critique of the series and how it portrays the "servants" of GOD, i.e. pastors, elders, laymen and such...if i were to describe the portrayals, which there are not very many, as mealy mouthed spineless weaklings, i'd be insulting mealy mouthed spineless weaklings.

the second critique is how the characters portray inter-actional relations to GOD. HE's not the Maker of All Things, HE's not the LORD of All Creation, HE's the absentee boss that has behavior traits bordering into neglect, criminal neglect and abusive neglect.

The god portrayed in Landman is the opposite of faithful and true.

the third critique is how the cross is used. every character, especially the women, that wear a cross, they're the ones that commit the most un-Christ like behavior. it's almost like the writer(s) use it as a subliminal marker to insure that the audience knows this person is a hypocrite of Christianity via their words and their actions.

the fourth, fifth and sixth critique is the portrayal of women, men and the relationship between them.

the women are, to some degree, adherents to the spirit of Jezebel, demanding to be worshiped, expecting to be held blameless, and entitled to unquestionable "love".

The behavior of the men can be summed up by one word; cuckoldry. to one extent or another all the men portrayed in the series exhibit cuckoldry.

the things that i took away from Landman...

just as the old saying of the most believable lies have a modicum of truth, Landman is liberal, anti-Christian, anti-white, anti-male, and anti-American propaganda.

just as the "good" lie needs truth, the "good" propaganda needs facts.

the characters are all wanting to be "loved", but none of them are either willing to, or even know what true love is.

they behave as if they are the gods of there own little universe and anyone else had better pay homage,

this is where it gets personal...

if Taylor Sheridan is a conservative writer bucking the liberal hollywood machine, then i'm the pope of the catholic church.

the old cold-war soldier in me says that he's an infiltrator...the best kind of infiltrator. the one that knows just how to walk the walk and how to talk the talk, but deep down he's a godless, Christ hating liberal that has infiltrated and beguiled the flock, a false shepherd.

i never watched any of his other series; Yellowstone, or it's spinoffs because i did not want to relive the life i had amongst individuals who worshiped themselves, expected others to bend the knee to their egos and had not an iota of true humanity and this series had the same types of characters, just in a different environment.

i feel like i was called to put this out here so as to be a warning to the innocent and and the faithful, do not be beguiled by the machinations of the world.
