My experiances with a close relitives decline, the process is to get a referal from his general practioner for a neurologist consultation. Then after the first consultation, another appointment to determine cognative ability with all the drawing shapes and delayed word rememberance tests. An MRI brain scan may be ordered. Weeks later the neurologist will state the results to the parties involved.
