@Tom Jefferson Your not wrong. DC is trying to say "Superman" is a mantel and Clark "retired" from being superman if that makes sense. DC is trying to hold on the IP copyright of superman. Clark Kent Superman goes in to public domain in about 10years which is one of the reasons they are trying to make this change so they can have a "Superman" under their copyright. Another reason is for social credit with ESG (enviromental social governance) hedge funds that are trying to push change in our culture.
